Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password.
Etsy shop data: When you connect your Etsy account, we access your shop listings, listing variations, inventory levels and order data via the Etsy API. We use this data solely to provide the stock and price management features of the service. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
Payment information: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their own privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance.
Usage data: We may collect anonymised data about how you use the service, such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.
Cookies: We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate The Listing Factory service
- Manage your account and authenticate your identity
- Sync your Etsy listings, stock levels and pricing data
- Process payments via Stripe
- Send transactional emails such as account confirmation and password resets
- Improve and develop the service
We access your Etsy shop data through the Etsy API in accordance with Etsy's API Terms of Use. We only request the permissions necessary to provide the service (listing management and order reading). We do not use your Etsy data for any purpose other than operating The Listing Factory on your behalf. You can revoke our access to your Etsy account at any time through your Etsy account settings.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Etsy API tokens are encrypted and stored securely. All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
We use the following third-party services to operate The Listing Factory:
- **Supabase** — database and authentication
- **Stripe** — payment processing
- **Vercel** — hosting and deployment
- **Etsy API** — listing and order data
Each of these services has their own privacy policy and data handling practices.
